Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Itinio mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
In short: Itinio helps you discover places and plan trips. Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase, billed through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them from your store account.
1. The service
Itinio is a travel planning application that helps users discover places, view maps, organize plans, save favorites, and manage travel content. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
3. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Itinio offers optional paid features:
- Explorer — an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks all premium recommendations across cities and unlimited alternative routes.
- City Pass — a one-time purchase that unlocks all premium recommendations for a single city for one year.
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your store account settings; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Any free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region and over time. Except where required by law or by the applicable store policies, purchases are non-refundable; refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the App or its content without permission;
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems;
- misuse location, mapping, or other features in a way that harms others.
5. Content and intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, text, and curated content, is owned by Itinio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. Maps and related data are provided by third parties (for example, Mapbox) and are subject to their terms.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations, routes, opening hours, prices, or other information are accurate or complete. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety when traveling.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itinio and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to comply with the law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or by other appropriate means where required. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the store from which you downloaded it (Apple App Store or Google Play).
